Ok... we all need to make a living and that includes yours truly, Walt. This 'business' of helping folks achieve home ownership is one way how Walt makes a living and the underlying philosophy is the same as with other activities ... to provide help and support.

WHAT IF SOMEONE CANNOT GET A MORTGAGE?

As a licensed mortgage agent, I came across many good people unable to afford owning a home. On another, more positive note to help correct that situation, I establish links with investors who are not interested in feeding the banks and who want to have a good return on their money while doing some good for others. To accomplish that, my links with Realtors and investors who share my world view philosophy to help our fellow man, involve providing a rent-to-own program that will allow people in such circumstances to have a lease option in place where a `tenant` leases the property with the option to buy the property at a pre-determined fair price. Of course, there are details that are not mentioned here but everything is aimed at helping such people. This is a grass roots project that should benefit many. He does not have credit (no outstanding debt issues). He needs time and guidance to establish his credit score. This is a fantastic couple that just needs a little help from our investors to get into home ownership. They do not have a lot of debt, have been steadily employed long term and are determined to do what they need to do to succeed for themselves and their young children.
